Deadly Earthquake Hits Ä°zmir, Leaving 116 People Dead
November 5, 2020
A 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Turkish city of Izmir on October 30th. The deadly earthquake killed 116 people, while leaving thousands of people injured and homeless. The rescue operation was finalized on November 4 after the rescuers pulled 107 survivors from the collapsed buildings.
Social Media Giants are Fined 10 Million ₺ by Turkish Government

The Turkish government fined six social media giants 10 million Turkish Liras for not complying with the new social media law implemented in Turkey. If the social media platforms continue to refuse assigning representatives to Turkey, they will face further sanctions.
